Scuba For Change’s beneficiary for 50% of our profits is the Stairway Foundation.

Stairway Foundation Inc. is a non-stock, non-profit, non-government child care organization located in Puerto Galera, in the island of Oriental Mindoro.

It was established in 1990 by Lars C. Jorgensen and Monica D. Ray as an alternative program for the most marginalized and endangered street-children in the Philippines.

As well as donating 50% of our profits to Stairway, Scuba For Change will also be conducting some fun experience programs with some of the kids.
This will give them a once in a lifetime chance to experience the underwater world of Puerto Galera!
As well as being a fun opportunity, the experience programs will teach the kids about the marine environment and its threats.
We hope this will help them to develop an interest in the environment and to care for the future of the Philippines reefs and marine life.

2015 sees their 25th Anniversary which is a testament to the hard work, achievements and support of the Stairway team.
